1st day of 1st grade!

So proud to be sitting at her own desk!

Today when Steven took her to school the teacher had very good things to say about Brynn. We were told that she is the only child in the class that can read along with her. Most kids have a few words that they know, but she feels that Brynn will be moving along to chapter books before we know it!

This is Brynn and her BFF Hannelore! They are really great friends. They are very excited to be sitting in the same group of desks! There personalities are completly the opposite of one another and compliment eachother so well!

a day at the pier-

Brynn was on spring break this week, I was able to take Friday off so we could have a nice family day.
We took the girls to Pier 39. It was a BEAUTIFUL day in the city.

We had lots of fun,

It was such a great day!

Brynn Donated her hair to locks of love!

**Warning-this may make you cry a lil Mary**

Here she is, all in cute little glory! She has be BEGGING us for months to cut off her hair. Steven kept saying "NO WAY"

Well she finally broke him. He said OK. She could cut it to her shoulders.

So we started to wonder if she had enough hair to donate.



Well she did, IF they went shorter. And by that point Brynn was so excited to donate her hair and she wanted it shorter anyways



So they CHOPPED

literally grabbed and chopped!



She is SO VERY PROUD!

No we haven't seen it in person. so im not sure what its going to look like after its wet and curly, but Bonnie said in this pic its dried naturally....so well see!

This is sure going to make some little child a very beautiful wig!

And Little Brynn is so proud to be able to help a sick child. She has such a big heart!

I am going to scrapbook this for her FOR SURE!! Its a big one!

Im so excited to see her tonight and see it in person!

A day with the Greats!

Yesterday we went to Napa to spend the day with Great Grandma & Grandpa Chambers! We had such a great time, We haven't ever spent any 1 on 1 family time with them, and Really Steven hasn't been able to do this for a VERY long time. So it was overdue, and really a great treat!

Brynn read Great Grandma "red fish blue fish" Because we have a super genius on our hands, can now read Dr Seuss books BY HER SELF!

Grandpa made us Delicious Burgers and sausage, beans and salad! OHH and yummy bread!

Savanna likes to just hang out

She is a professional cookie maker now

Picking your cutters is a very serious decision

Savanna talked to them the whole time, super funny!

We sat around and chatted a bit, and then headed home around 5. Such a great day, So glad to get to spend time together, Its definitely something we will do more often!

Big Girl Bath!

We put the girls in the new BIG bath tub, they had a ton of fun! Savanna LOVES the water! she takes a bath me me a lot and she always tries to swim! Its super cute!

Last night when we were unpacking Brynn room she realized that there were several books that she had 2 copies of. so she said "I need to give these to Savanna, Put them in her room please." so we did, then she was looking at the books as we took them out of the box she would say " I know this one already, you should give it to Savanna to learn" I told her that for now we will just keep them on her shelf and she can read them to Savanna. She thought this was a great Idea. So Steven Just sent me this photo.....

Not the Best quality pic, but she is reading her a little golden book called "The Pokey Little Puppy" And I just love much Savanna is paying attention. So cute, just melts my heart!

BRYNN HAD HER FIRST HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT OVER THE WEEKEND! HER ASSIGNMENT WAS TO DECORATE A SHOEBOX TO KEEP HER LITTLE BOOKS IN THAT THEY MAKE AT SCHOOL!
